What We’ll be Doing:

We will be removing invasive species with direction from a park ranger/resource specialist. Materials such as gloves and tools will be provided. This will involve a lot of sitting and crouching close to the ground in order to pull the plants.

What to Bring:

We recommend long pants, long sleeves, and boots to limit any physical reactions to plants in the area (such as poison ivy) and to avoid bugs/ticks. Gloves, tools, and trash bags will also be provided.

  • Food/snacks and water for the day
  • Sturdy boots
  • Long pants, long sleeve shirt
  • Any bug or sun protection you want to use
