Catoctin Mountain Park is an incredible natural area located only an hour away from Washington DC and Baltimore. Both areas contain high quality bouldering opportunities as well as many miles of hiking trails.
We will be working with the park to develop more established trails to some of the boulders in the park; specifically the Blue Ridge Summit/Hog Rock Parking boulders, including Next Gen. We will be partnering with the park’s trail crew, so this will be a mid week event. This is a great opportunity to help contribute to the trails the climbing community will use.
This is a slightly longer event than our usual, so lunch will be provided. Due to the type of work, this will for volunteers at or over the age of 18.
