Mid Atlantic Climbers is pleased to announce our second Adopt a Crag at Woodstock Rock. Located in Patapsco Valley State Park, Woodstock is a small crag with a history of access issues due to challenges in a direct, legal approach. It is a popular crag with great trad and top roping routes as well as some bouldering. MAC is excited to work with the Maryland Conservation Corps at this crag!

What We’ll be Doing:

We will be building a platform and improving erosion control at the base of Woodstock Rock along the main face up the hill to the cave, as well as improving the walkup to the crag.  Work will include stone steps and water bar construction.  Most work will involve stone, so expect some fairly heavy work.  Gloves will be provided, but if you have a heavy pair, we recommend bringing them.
