Ilchester has a special place in many of our hearts. We often hear stories about it being the first place many MAC volunteers first climbed outdoors, and we’ve spent lots of volunteer hours over the years maintaining this fantastic resource for generations to come. Ilchester is in a high traffic area of Patapsco park, and sees more than it’s fair share of litter and graffiti, while experiencing serious erosion issues and a high volume of climbers. MAC is committed to reducing the effects of human impact on this area, so climbers in the region can continue to enjoy this great after work crag.
