Governor Stable Group Shot

Join us as we partner with South Central Pennsylvania Climbers (SCPC) for an Adopt a Crag at Governor Stable in Pennsylvania.  This area has excellent bouldering for all levels.

  • Check In : 8:30 am
  • Project work: 9:00am-1:00pm
  • Lunch provided – 1:00pm.
  • Raffle: 1:00pm

Where To Meet/How To Get There:

Take 441 South through Middletown, past Three Mile Island on your right, until you come to Turnpike Road. Make a left on Turnpike and drive until you see Governor Stable Road on your right. Follow it to Conoy Township Park. PARK IN THE STONE PARKING LOT AT THE PARK! Walk down the hill and across a small one lane bridge, then cut into the woods on the obvious path.

What To Bring:

  • Buckets (if you have them)
  • Closed toed shoes
  • Working gloves (if you have them)
  • Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in
  • Water bottle and snacks

What We’ll be Doing:

Governor Stable has significant marshy sections, so we’ll by mulching the soggier areas with wood chips.  In addition to this we’ll be trimming back overgrowth along the trail and replacing some wooden planks along the board walk
